ACADEMIC CLASSES[/font] ,
university of pittsburgh’s classes are located in different sections of campus. students may choose from the wide variety offered to further their education.

ATHLETIC AREAS[/font] ,
the pittsburgh panthers excel in a wide variety of sports, including basketball, cross country, football, soccer, baseball/softball, swimming, girls' tennis, gymnastics, soccer, and wrestling. each of the sports has its own facilities which are open for student use when teams are not scheduled for practices. intra-mural sports often take place for students who enjoy a quick game of flag football or soccer amongst friends. all athletic areas are located on-campus and are within walking distance of the dorms.

HILLMAN LIBRARY[/font] ,
hillman is the university’s main library and can accommodate over 1,500 students. with over 1.9 million volumes, you’re bound to find what you’re looking for.

DORMITORIES[/font] ,
same-sex dorms accommodate up to four per room. lower-priced dorms are two to a room and share a common dining area and restrooms with the rest of the floor’s residents. modestly-priced dorms accommodate four and include one bathroom per dorm and a shared dining area with the rest of the floor. the most expensive dorms include two bathrooms per dorm and a small kitchenette.

GROUNDS[/font] ,
pitt’s students usually choose the grounds to study, read, and hang out with friends. many opt to visit the busiest part of the grounds, affectionately named ‘the quad’ by pitt students. the grounds are dotted with cafes and food stands, so you can eat and study peacefully on a Sunday afternoon.
